Overview

A once-in-a-lifetime milestone needed a face.

In 2026, Beverly marks 400 years since its settlement in 1626. Beverly 400+, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) formed in 2023, set out to lead a full year of celebration — festivals, historic programs, legacy projects, and community storytelling for a city of more than 40,000 people.

Before any of that could happen, the effort needed an identity people would recognize on a banner, a sponsor packet, or a phone screen — and a website that could hold a year’s worth of events, stories, and ways to get involved.

Medley Creative Group designed the Beverly 400+ brand and built its website, giving the celebration a single, consistent presence from the first announcement through every event of the anniversary year.

Brand Identity

A mark that honors the past and points forward.

The Beverly 400+ logo needed to feel rooted and historic without looking dated — and to work just as well for a winter festival as for a golf tournament, a podcast, or a legacy park.

  • A sculptural figure icon that gives the celebration a recognizable, standalone symbol
  • A classic “Beverly” wordmark paired with a forward-leaning “400+” — the plus sign echoing the mission to honor the past while investing in the future
  • A harbor-and-common palette of slate, teal, and green drawn from Beverly’s waterfront and open spaces
  • Full lockup and standalone icon for use on signage, social, merchandise, and sponsor materials

A home base for a yearlong celebration.
